IS YOUR BUSINESS TELLING THE STORY IT’s MEANT TO TELL?
Whether you’re just starting out or refreshing your business, a new logo and dynamic branding is essential.
Unfortunately, startups and businesses can be tempted by more price-efficient vendors, over-popular design contests, or junior artists and wind up less than impressed with the finished product. My passion is helping small businesses and entrepreneurs create branding that represents who they are and what they do.
FEATURE PROJECT: LOLA’s Donuts
Lola’s Donuts is a donut shop in Austin, Texas serving up original brioche donuts. Named after the creator’s grandmother, a Mexican descendant. The branding captures a modern twist on a Mexican rising sun, a tribute to its namesake and incorporates a festive donut, that’s almost calling the donut lover. The color scheme is bright and cheerful, featuring shades of pink, yellow and teal. These colors were chosen to reflect the playful nature of the brand The main typeface for a modern sans-serif font with playful edges as a nod to its ethnic roots and offers a contrast to the clean, modern lines of the sun.
Featured project: lights online
Popular ecommerce site owned by retailer Progressive Lighting needed a light brand refresh. Restructured their existing logo, brightened their color palette and developed brand guidelines. In addition, I also refreshed their email welcome series.
